1. Floss everyday

Don’t skip! Remember, plaque is always building up on your smile—ever single day. So you have to be equally tenacious about clearing plaque from your smile.


2. Floss at night

It is most beneficial for your smile for you to floss your teeth at night, right before you brush your teeth. By sticking to this schedule, you dislodge plaque that has built up throughout the day, and then immediately brush it away, in order to give your smile a clean slate before you go to sleep.


3. Pick a type of floss that works for you

There are many different flavors/types available on the market today. When buying floss, just pick a type that works for your smile. Make sure that the taste isn’t off-putting for you, and make sure that the floss does not shred when you move it between your teeth.
