If you’re dealing with dental damage, it’s important to remember that there are effective restorative treatments available to you—you don’t have to continue to suffer with a diminished smile.

Today our Toluca Lake dentists are giving you some more information about the specific treatments that we use to correct dental damage and rebuild smiles. Let’s get started!

Dental bonding allows our team to fill in cracks and to rebuild chipped away enamel. This process is exceptionally simple; our dentist applies a custom-colored composite resin to the patient’s tooth, and then cures it so that it hardens and bonds to the dental structure. Once the bonding process is complete, the resin will blend in seamlessly with the patient’s enamel. One of the benefits of bonding is that it can be completed in just one appointment.

CEREC restorations are used to rebuild missing portions of a patient’s tooth. Every CEREC crown is shaped, sized, and shaded to fit in with the patient’s existing smile. The unique aspect of CEREC is that enables our dentist to craft and place your restoration in one appointment, while you’re in the dentist’s chair. You don’t have to bother with wearing a temporary crown at all.

Porcelain veneers are exceptionally thin porcelain restorations that, once bonded to the natural tooth, completely transform the tooth’s appearance. Because veneers are crafted prior to placement, you’ll probably need two to three appointments to complete treatment.

For patients who are missing teeth, our dentist offers a range of tooth replacement treatments. Individual dental implants are permanently grounded in the patient’s jawbone tissue with a small titanium root. We can also use small implant roots to anchor larger dental prostheses like dentures.

As you can see, there are a number of ways that our Toluca Lake dentists can restore your smile after dental damage. So, don’t give up! If you’re battling dental damage, our team is here for you, just give us a call!
