What are veneers made of?

How does veneer treatment work?
The first step in the treatment process is a dental assessment; at this point our dental team will check your smile for signs of damage. If you do have ongoing infections or damage, we may need to correct these issues before moving forward.
Then, we’ll prep your tooth, and reduce some of your natural dental structure in order to make room for your veneer. We’ll then take an impression of your prepped tooth—it is from this impression that your restoration is made.
Once your dental veneer is complete, you’ll come back into the office so that we can fit and place it. We’ll bond the veneer to the relevant tooth, and cure the bonding so that it forms a strong and stable connection with your tooth. At this point, you’re all done! You’ll enjoy a tooth that looks attractive and that functions optimally.
